Abstract
A particle alone does not have any meaning. They are used for making various semantic connections between the other words. Likewise in Turkish, particles play important roles such as correlating or making the semantic connections, adding connotative meanings and so on in Japanese. On the other hand, zero particle appears frequently in colloquial Japanese. It may occur as optional or obligatory depending on many factors in the sentence. In this paper, some theoretical frameworks about zero particle were given and some features of zero particle were handled. Lastly, the necessity of a teaching methodology that applicable to Japanese language education was emphasized.
