The Essence of the Textbooks on the Foreign Language:
Pre Korean Language

Abstract

This paper focuses on considering about developing the foreign language textbooks. The purpose of this paper is that to sound out the possibility of development Korean textbooks for native Turkish speakers. In the first section a short introduction was given as follows. As seen in the second section, it was examined Korean education in the Turkish Universities in order to make this study clear. The third section is about developing Korean textbooks. In this section the function of developing the foreign language textbooks are tried to be given. In Turkey, the Korean language education has started since 1989 so far we can hardly deny that the Korean education is not enough to observe Turkish educational environment. Therefore, we have to develop Korean textbooks in our native language. This study is about the essences of the textbooks on Korean language.
